I can’t think of anything more elegant in a woman’s closet than… a pencil skirt. It makes us chic, accentuates the curves, and is multifunctional – works great both for an office outfit (with a shirt) and a party one (with a rock T-shirt). It’s been very popular among designers this season – Versace, or Au Jour le Jour, Trussardi… Inspired by their work, I decided do give a modern touch to my classic jacquard pencil skirt, and teamed it with a light lime crop top, which would be perfect for official events as well – worn with a high waist bottom (wide leg pants, for example). This subtle look is completed by pastel accessories – a girly Louis Vuitton purse embroidered with a floral applique, blue stilettos interestingly tied on my ankles, mirror glasses with dark graphic frames and minimalistic, yet very original bracelets. This look, completed by the waves in my hair and a subtle make-up is a perfect choice both for a business meeting, a family event, or a Sunday walk. I decided to visit one in one of my favorite places in Warsaw, the Łazienki Park. If you are here, I definitely recommend seeing the park’s museum!
