Have you already caught your high street bargain? It’s high time you did it already! Summer sales offer real gems in very reasonable prices. Let me show you what captivated me and what I’m totally planning on getting 😉 Read on!

Many sales guides tell us to invest in classic basics. Well, it’s true, getting a beige trench or a navy jacket always pays off, yet I encourage you though to go a step further and look forward 😉 If you opt for a colorful top, you’ll be able to wear it not only during summer, but also when it gets cooler – teamed with your favorite cardigans. I’m going to wear a powder frilled blouse with white shorts and then, when it gets chilly, team it with a striped jacket and yellow chino pants 😉 Don’t be scared to wear delicate and gauzy clothes with thicker ones – woolen or even leather. Such sets make you look simply original.

It’s similar to what I wrote in #1 above. Get colorful shorts and wear them with slides. When it gets chilly, go for tights and change the slides for heels. You’re not a fan of showing your legs? Just see these amazing skirt pants featured on the collage below. Oh… I just imagined them with a short top, and an oversized jacket, a white one, for example. Such an outfit is perfect for girls whose body shape is an A (have you already taken the test which categorizes the shape of your body)? If you’re heading to a party, you’ll always make use of something shiny. A silver skirt for less than EUR 20 is a total bargain!!! Wear it with fishnets, stilettos, shiny colorful tops and big jewelry on your neck (a golden jewel necklace, for example).

Dresses like those marked 2 and 3 on the collage below are a great choice both for work (just go for stilettos, tights and a fashionable laptop bag), a party (opt for a bit of shiny jewelry), as well as… to the beach 😉 Just imagine yourself in a straw hat, pompom sandals, and a swimsuit. Great! All you need is a book and you’re ready to spend the whole day by the shore 😉 Invest in a maxi dress – it’ll protect your legs from the sun in July and August, and if you wear it with a biker jacket, it’ll be great for September walks in the park. If it’s blue or grey, make sure to apply some intense pink lipstick (how about Pink Panther?) 😉

High street stores offer many colorful bright pastel jackets. By the end of the summer, these colors will all be displaced by burgundy, brown, subdued orange, and so on, so if like me, you’re into lively shades, it’s the last call to get some. Go for yellow, cobalt, fuchsia, powder pink. Consider a bomber jacket. They’re still very in, and look great with hypergirly gauzy dresses. If you’re not a fan of these, and prefer light summer wraps – wear them with a swimsuit, jeans, or mini dresses. They look good not only on the beach, but also in everyday looks – in the supermarket, or paired with casual items. They mask a bigger belly and other imperfections perfectly!

And we’ve come to a point when I encourage you to go a bit off the beaten track. Check out Zara, New Look, or Top Shop – they all offer heavenly colorful shoes and purses. Well, other stores have them in stock as well, of course. Original accessories can be teamed with plain dresses (a red dress and purse). You can also go all in and pair floral blouses with striped pants (how about black and white ones) and colorful stilettos (like #5 on the collage). Don’t make the color of the shoes discourage you – it’s a myth. If you wear them with jeans and elegant pants – they totally create a base for an outfit! 😉 Read my articles on combining patterns and colors – I’m sure they’ll inspire you to experiment with colors! 😉
